LOS ANGELES - The grainy homemade sex tape featuring "Austin Powers" star Verne Troyer is now the subject of a $20 million lawsuit.

Troyer, best known for his Mini-Me role and now appearing in "The Love Guru," has filed suit against celebrity gossip group TMZ Productions and sex tape peddler Kevin Blatt, claiming they leaked a compromising teaser clip of his amateur video against his wishes.

The 20-second sneak-peek features the pint-sized actor tongue-wrestling with girlfriend Renae Shrider, 22, and remains on TMZ.com's website despite a cease and desist letter from Troyer's lawyers and the federal lawsuit filed Thursday.


"[The tape] reveals the private lovemaking of boyfriend and girlfriend. No legitimate public interest is served by revealing, broadcasting, or distributing the contents," Troyer's invasion of privacy and copyright infringement suit states.

Troyer, 39, confirms he and Shrider made the tape depicting "various explicit sexual and intimate relations" sometime in the past year and claims someone stole the only copy from their apartment.

Blatt, the broker behind Paris Hilton's "One Night in Paris" sex tape, reportedly has possession of the tape and is entertaining a $100,000 offer from porn publisher SugarDVD to distribute the 50-minute romp.

"SugarDVD has confirmed the existence of one of the most shocking and controversial celebrity sex tapes to date!" the SugarDVD.com site says.

The tape isn't the first time Troyer's been caught with his pants down. Cameras caught the actor, who is 2-feet 8-inches tall, relieving himself in the corner of a weight room while drunk and naked during the fourth season of VH1's "The Surreal Life." Troyer later entered rehab for alcohol abuse.
