Wouldn't loathing someone for appearing to be a "type", be as bad as (or perhaps worse than) that person hating someone for actually being a "type"?

Don't get me wrong, I am not condoning reprehensible behavior of any kind. If Kenny did what he is accused of doing, there is no excuse for it or for him. But... to hate him because you think he is a "type", with no direct evidence is perhaps worse than what you claim to hate him for.

In other words, if it is wrong to hate someone for what they are, it is at least as wrong to hate someone for what you think they might be.

Just saying...
